Seems reasonably priced at $9K with 80K miles. I'm not a fan of the orange, but on the MS Miata, in my mind it works. From the pics, it shows well and doesn't have the side-skirts, only the front an rear spoilers.

If I were in the market for an MS, I'd certainly consider it.

What say yee?

Yes, indeed is nice. Lava Orange was only offered in '05 on the 'Speed Miata.
They all came in GT trim with leather and cloth top.
Side skirts were an add on option. I ordered a set for my '04 Mazdaspeed, I liked them.
This car has aftermarket stereo which is probably ok since it is not a collector car.
Miles show it had average use and that is a good thing. Body & interior appear clean.
So long as it had the T-belt / WP done, I think it is a good car.
Seller says "asking price is $9K" which should imply a little room to negotiate.
Ten years from now stock, clean Mazdaspeeds may be semi-collectable.

I posted this several days ago here & no one seemed to care.
If I didn't have my Miata already, this one would be in my garage already.
Glad someone finally mentioned it!

Didn't see it posted earlier, LO has always been my favorite color of NB and the fact it's a MS just adds to the enjoyment. I figure I'd at least contact the seller to check on maintenance. It's a bit more work to do the whole TB/WP routine on a turbo car, be nice it it had already been done by a professional. If everything was current and he/she would take $8500 I'd go ahead and book the flight to Houston :). Heck, if it's all current, probably book the flight even at $8750 (somebody has to pay for the airline ticket).

Looks like a decent deal for the miles. This color does not show up too terribly often, so in my mind that is a bonus as well.

MSM's seem to be holding their value over other NBs. Still not a good investment, but if driving a turbo is the price you gotta pay... so be it.:D

Well, either this one is sold or the seller has no clue how to read email (or it's all going to their trash folder because of the spam filter). I sent a pretty serious email, asking some additional questions and expressing a sincere interest in the car. So far, no response

Hey Tom, How did the white/red Honda S2000 neg. go ?

The PPI showed that the car had cracked valve retainers (common in the AP1 cars), did not have the updated banjo bolts and there was one other thing that was relatively minor. Seller wasn't willing to negotiate and/or fix those things and I wasn't willing to pay top dollar for a car with what can be potentially a big issue (like dropping a valve on me on the way home  ). Unfortunate, because on the surface it had a lot of promise and I even had my wife's permission :D

Can't believe it hasn't sold already

The color really does nothing for me, no HT and 80K miles seems high for $9,000.

Well, it either has or the seller is an idiot.

A Southwest tix from Tucson to Houston is more like $109 or less... ;)

We have a few extra guest rooms. Pick a day I am off work and I will be your driver to and from as well.
