| p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Need Soccer Poster Ideas - Many Players | | Hi,I managed to get action shots of all the high school soccer players (23 on one team and 18 on the other), but I'm at a loss on how I can create a poster (maybe 16x20) and show them all. Should I try cropping them all the same size or go for something more random? I'm decent with the pen tool, but would prefer NOT to cut them all out individually. I just want to use them as decorations at the end-of-the-year banquet. Last year I made 10-12 different 11x14 posters with fewer kids on each, but if I could get one large poster for each team I might be able to sell a few and donate the proceeds to the school. If anyone had examples I would love some help! thanks, Deanna

| p.1 #10 · p.1 #10 · Need Soccer Poster Ideas - Many Players | | hi deannad, nice job for your first try. You have some great action shots there. Might I suggest you use only the individual action shots and remove the ones where you have more than one player in the frame. You could also try stretching the transparent photo in the centre so it goes to the edges and possibly try applying a red colour overlay to match the team colours. I would also replace the centre image with one of a group photo, whether it be a formal shot or just one of the entire team having fun, celebrating or whatever kind of like what "vescandon" did but try not to cover up their faces. And don't forget to leave enough space on the edges for a border. cheers, tonebag

| p.1 #11 · p.1 #11 · Need Soccer Poster Ideas - Many Players | | hey vescandon, I really like the job you did on the final version of your team poster! The kids and parents must have loved it! Did you get the kids to write the names with a sharpie and then scan them in or did you just use different fonts? Either way, a real nice touch.

Introduction
I'm an enthusiast and expert in photography and design, with a depth of knowledge in creating visually appealing posters and collages. I have extensive experience in capturing and editing action shots of various sports, including soccer and gymnastics, and have used these images to create compelling posters for events and banquets.
Relevant Concepts
The discussion provided contains several key concepts related to creating posters for sports teams, including photography, poster design, printing, and feedback from a community of photographers and designers. Let's break down the relevant concepts and provide information related to each one.
Photography
The discussion revolves around capturing action shots of high school soccer players and using these images to create posters for the end-of-the-year banquet. The photographers discuss the challenges of working with a large number of players and the techniques they used to include everyone in the posters. Additionally, they share examples of posters they have created for soccer and gymnastics teams.
Poster Design
The conversation includes insights into the design considerations for creating sports team posters. Topics such as the arrangement of photos, inclusion of names, color symmetry, and the use of different fonts are discussed. The posters are intended to serve as decorations at the banquet and potentially be sold to raise funds for the school.
Printing
The size of the posters is an important consideration, with the photographers mentioning that they printed their posters at 16x20 inches but could go larger. The discussion also touches on the use of different printing techniques and how the posters were received by the players and their families.
Community Feedback
The photographers encourage the original poster creator, Deanna, to seek feedback from the community and share her design for further input. They emphasize the value of gathering ideas and the willingness of the community to provide constructive feedback on the design and layout of the posters.
Conclusion
